If you’re still on the fence, you should know that you get quite a lot when going for the Motorola Edge (2025) at its current price, even if you don’t trade in a device. Equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and 8GB of RAM, the phone has more than enough firepower to handle day-to-day tasks without any issues.
What’s more, it boasts a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 2712 x 1220 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,400 nits. This allows it to offer pleasant visuals even in direct sunlight while making everything feel fast and responsive.
Sure, it won’t stun you with incredible photos, as it’s a mid-range phone and those rarely excel in this department, but the 50MP main camera is still pretty capable. Just keep in mind that you might notice a slight loss in detail in some photos due to Motorola’s aggressive oversharpening.
The only thing that I believe might be a deal-breaker for you is software updates. While the phone will receive Android 17, this is where major OS updates stop. On the plus side, it’ll continue to receive security patches until June 2028, so your data will still be protected.
If Motorola’s short update policy isn’t an issue for you and you’re hunting for a capable new phone at a bargain price, don’t hesitate to snatch up a Motorola Edge (2025) for less before it’s too late!
