If the recently released Pixel Watch 5 (rightfully) started feeling to you like a pretty horrible deal after the Pixel Watch 4's latest and greatest discount, you might want to take a quick look at an even newer and arguably wilder Amazon promotion.

Yes, the Pixel Watch 5 does look quite similar to its predecessor at first glance, but no, the two intelligent timepieces are most definitely not identical twins. That's because the newer wearable packs a slightly faster processor, as well as more memory and internal storage space, thus guaranteeing a smoother overall experience in most day-to-day user operations.

The biggest weakness remains the battery life, which is however not quite as bad as long-time Wear OS users might remember from a few years back, and Google also has a major problem with Samsung's Galaxy Watch 9. That thing uses an even better chipset than the Pixel Watch 5, and after its latest discount, is only $30 costlier in a 4G LTE-capable 40mm variant... with $50 Samsung Store credit also included.
