Samsung started to deliver the Android 9.0 Pie update to the old Galaxy Tab S3 more than two weeks ago, but just for the Wi-Fi-only model. Today, Verizon announced that its carrier-branded Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with LTE support is getting the update as well.

Verizon indicates that the update was released on September 19, but we weren't aware of it until this week. In any case, if you own a Verizon Galaxy Tab S3 prepare for major changes coming to your tablet.

The redesigned Samsung One UI, improved Camera UX, and new features like Adaptive Battery, Digital Wellbeing and Night Mode are just some of the highlights of the Android 9.0 Pie update coming to the Galaxy Tab S3.

Along with all the new features and improvements that come with Android 9.0 Pie, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will also receive the September security patch. According to Verizon, the estimated software download time is 6-10 minutes, while the update should take around the same time. Make sure that you have enough free storage though since this will be a fairly sizeable download.
