Verizon announces new Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL deal (trade in required)

Verizon Wireless is getting ready to kick off a promotion aimed at users planning to buy a new Google Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL smartphone. Starting April 5 (this Thursday), customers who trade in an old smartphone can get up to 50% off a Google Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL, in addition to 2 free months of YouTube TV, a Google Chromecast ($35 value), and a Google Home Mini ($49 value).

The trade in credit's value obviously depends on the phone model you're willing to trade in. Credit (up to $424.99) will be applied to your account over 24 months. It looks like the deal will be available to both new and existing Verizon customers.

As you may know, Verizon already had various trade in deals involving other high-end smartphones, including the Apple iPhone X and iPhone 8 series, or Samsung's Galaxy S9 and S9+. However, the free Google stuff mentioned at the beginning of this article is offered only with the purchase of a Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL. You can find more details on Verizon's promotions by visiting the carrier's website via the source link below.
