Samsung announces Enterprise Alliance Program
Today at CTIA Enterprise & Applications, Samsung unveiled its Enterprise Alliance Program – an organization tailored for the company’s enterprise customers that facilitates the implementation and use of Samsung mobile devices in day-to-day operations of businesses and institutions.
Through the Enterprise Alliance Program, Samsung is aiming to create a cooperative ecosystem that can bring benefits to the enterprise mobility market while increasing the electronics giant’s presence in the enterprise segment. The program’s goal is to not only strengthen the ties between Samsung and its enterprise clients, but to delver an enhanced, differentiated experience for both customers and company employees who use the manufacturer’s enterprise-ready devices.
One of the companies that have already shown interest in taking part in the Samsung Enterprise Alliance Program is American Airlines, which plans to deploy 6,000 Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 tablets on board some of its aircraft. The tablets will replace the airline’s current in-flight entertainment device in premium cabins on select intercontinental flights. The University of Southern Mississippi has also decided to participate and will offer up to 1,000 Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 tablets with the Blackboard Mobile Learn software pre-installed to students participating in an Honors College pilot program.
