Samsung Galaxy S6 gets disassembled on video - it's rather hard to get inside
It's always been quite interesting to take a sneak peek inside the more interesting Android devices and take a gawk at the top-notch hardware inside. Such is the case with the Samsung Galaxy S6, a handset that has some really powerful components inside - an Exynos 7420 chipset, 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM, as well as ultra-fast eMMC 5.1 flash storage.
However, this is not the only intriguing thing about the phone - the Galaxy S6 is the first Samsung flagship to come with a sealed, non user-removable battery, a pretty steep departure from Samsung's roots. We've already treated you to a teardown of the device, but we have a brand new one now. This time, it's a video that walks us through the process of tearing down the Samsung flagship.
Just as you might imagine, disassembling the phone down is pretty hard, mostly due to the danger of breaking the rear glass panel. As a result, replacing the 2,550mAh battery is a pretty difficult and potentially-dangerous process. Moreover, the abundance of adhesive that seals the phone tight is also pretty hard to go through. As a whole, it's not a device that can be easily torn down.
