Samsung Galaxy Ace Gingerbread update arrives

Samsung Galaxy Ace Gingerbread update arrives
16
The unofficial Gingerbread ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Ace leaked nearly three months ago, but it's only now that Samsung has pushed the official update through Kies in select regions. The first countries to benefit from Samsung's update are Russia and Poland, but others are expected to get it soon as well, according to SamFirmware.

After the update, your Galaxy Ace will run on Android 2.3.3, which not only brings slight changes to the visuals, but also patches some security holes and implements enhanced copy-paste among other features. So while the Ace is by no means a high-end device, it still manages daily tasks without a problem on its reasonably sized 3.5-inch screen. Have you already updated your Ace?
