Polished looking Samsung Cetus says hello to the camera

It was only recently that we saw the Samsung Cetus SGH-i917 paying a visit to the FCC's big house with only an outline of the handset in tow which forced you to rely on your imagination to fill in the open space. However, we're just now getting treated to the first images of the Windows Phone 7 powered device from the Korean maker which definitely has one polished look to it. Although it's difficult to gather what material the Samsung Cetus is constructed out of, you can absolutely tell in the image where it's not powered on that it's one smooth looking one that almost resembles a polished stone. Additionally, we can gather that the charging port is located on the top edge of the smartphone – making it an unusual spot for it, but then again, we've seen Samsung do it with the pretty much all of their Galaxy S models. This Windows Phone 7 device is shaping up to be one looker due to the fact that it will feature a 4” WVGA AMOLED display, front-facing VGA camera, and also a healthy sized 5-megapixel shooter in its rear. With each passing day, we're only getting closer to the inevitable launch of Microsoft's next-gen platform.
