Pei: One Plus 2 coming in Q3; recent teaser for June 1st had nothing to do with the sequel

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei says that this teaser had nothing to do with the OnePlus 2
A recent interview with OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei published this weekend, clears up some of the questions surrounding a recent teaser sent out by the company. Showing an image of the OnePlus One being partially erased and ready to be "re-drawn" using a nearby pencil, the tag line "Time to Change" had many fans expecting the sequel to be announced on June 1st.
But alas, the only announcement we expect from OnePlus tomorrow is one introducing some price cuts for the two OnePlus One models. The new pricing will bring the 64GB Sandstone Black down to $298 and the 16GB Silk White version down to $248. Pei admitted in the interview that the teaser had nothing to do with a new phone.
Lastly, Pei says that OxygenOS will have a lot more new features announced at the same time that the OnePlus 2 finally sees the light of day next quarter. While those in the West received OxygenOS, customers in the East received HydrogenOS. Pei didn't say whether the latter will also see new features introduced along with the unveiling of the new handset.
