New 10.5-inch iPad Pro entering limited production for possible April announcement

Things are looking up for new iPads – truly new, not the iPad Air re-release built on iPhone 6 hardware that showed up a week ago. IHS analyst Rhoda Alexander hinted that Apple's manufacturing partners are about to begin limited production of a brand-new 10.5-inch iPad Pro. However, the tablet's debated announcement date is up in the air. The previously rumored March event is obviously a no-go, so an April keynote may be in order.
DigiTimes suggested that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will be outed in early April, celebrating the new Apple Park campus' inauguration, which sounds plausible. The new iPad Pro may be in for a limited spring launch in the United States and some other markets, with a gradually expanding global roll-out.
Overall, chances are good that new iPad Pro tablets will be announced before the end of April. For now, we'll just have to keep waiting.
