Motorola PRO+ is coming to Asia and Europe in October, but it packs support for AT&T and T-Mobile bands

Today, Motorola officially announced that the PRO+, a device that sports some upgraded specs to the recent Motorola PRO, is headed to the Asian and European markets sometime in October.  Looking at the smartphone, it sports that typical portrait style QWERTY form factor that easily makes it a suitable BlackBerry alternative.

Compared to the previous Motorola PRO, the global version of Verizon’s Motorola DROID PRO, the Pro+ features an upgraded 3.1” VGA (480 x 640) touchscreen with Gorilla Glass, 5-megapixel camera with flash, 1GHz processor, aGPS, Bluetooth, FM radio, Wi-Fi, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Interestingly, Motorola states in their press release that the handset is going to be shipping in various 3G enabled forms – such dual-band WCDMA 850/1900/2100MHz, and 850/1700/2100MHz bands. Specifically, it means that it has support for AT&T and T-Mobile’s networks – despite not being officially mentioned.

So either way, the Motorola PRO+ might eventually migrate to our side of the planet sometime down the road. However, it might not phase Sprint and Verizon customers since they’ve been getting comfy using devices like the Motorola XPRT and DROID PRO already.
