Camera samples of the Sony Xperia Z vs 808 PureView vs iPhone 5 vs Note II appear (macro, low light)

A couple of quick sample shots have emerged from a Sony event featuring a presentation of the upcoming Xperia Z flagship with "stacked" 13 MP Exmor RS sensor.

The folks over there grabbed the Z, which was likely a non-final unit still, and snapped a few comparison photos with the Nokia 808 PureView, Apple iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy Note II and the Sony Xperia T.

Granted, too bad nobody had a Nokia Lumia 920 handy, which would undoubtedly skew the low-light shots in its favor, but you can still get a pretty good idea about the Exmor RS sensor general performance - while no match for the level of detail from the 808 PureView monster, it behaved very well in the less than ideal lighting situation, save for a slight white balance mishap, and is a clear improvement over the previous Exmor R generation in the Xperia T.
