The biggest change introduced with the Apple Watch Series 5 is arguably the ability to purchase it with Titanium and Ceramic casings. These options unsurprisingly come at a significant premium but it seems Apple is attempting to justify the higher price tags a little.
As standard, all Apple Watch Series 5 models ship with the chosen casing, the selected Band or Loop, a 5W USB power adapter, and a 1m magnetic charging cable inside the box. However, if you’re interested in the Titanium or Ceramic variants, Apple is also throwing in a Sport Band for free.
The color of this Sport Band unfortunately can’t be selected and is instead directly related to the chosen casing. Specifically, the Titanium Apple Watch Series 5 ships with a Light Gray Sport Band while the Space Black Titanium version is paired with a Dark Gray strap. The White Ceramic version, on the other hand, includes a Soft White Sport Band in the box.
For those of you that may be interested, the Titanium Apple Watch Edition models retail for $799 with a Sport Loop and $899 with a Leather Loop. The Ceramic Apple Watch Edition, for comparison, can be purchased with a Sport Loop for $1,299 but this rises to $1,399 if you want a Leather Loop.
